Niks recognises the language from the script the customer used, and from common words for Telugu and Hindi typed in English letters.

The answer is prepared from your products and FAQs. Names, prices and order numbers are locked so they cannot change.
Reply
The reply is put into the customer's language and sent. If anything was damaged on the way, the English reply goes out instead.

Common questions
Which Indian languages can a WhatsApp AI agent reply in?
Niks replies in Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi and English. It replies in the language the customer wrote in.
Does it understand Telugu or Hindi typed in English letters?
Yes for Telugu and Hindi. It recognises common words written in English letters and answers in the same style. Other languages in English letters are treated as best effort.
Are prices and product names safe when it translates?
Product names, prices and order numbers are protected during translation. If the translator changes any of them, Niks sends the English reply instead of a wrong one.
How accurate are the replies?
Good enough for everyday shop questions, but an AI can still get a word or tone wrong. Ask someone who speaks the language to read a few test chats before you go live.
Can I limit the languages?
Yes. On the AI agent page you choose which languages Niks may use, and the default language for everything else.
